Fullstack Developer – Consulting assignment

We at WeQuel are looking for experienced Fullstack Developers for consulting assignments in exciting and innovative industries.

About the Role

As a Fullstack Developer consultant, you will design, develop and maintain modern web applications and digital platforms. You will work across both frontend and backend layers to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing solutions that support business-critical systems and user-facing products.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, architects and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, clean coding practices and the ability to contribute throughout the full development lifecycle – from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern fullstack applications and services

• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces

• Develop scalable backend APIs and services

• Implement integrations with internal and external systems

• Ensure application performance, reliability and security

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Work with cloud-based environments and containerized applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack software development

• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)

• Backend development using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET

• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices

• Working with databases (SQL/NoSQL)

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g. Git)

• Containerization and modern deployment practices (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Understanding of security, scalability and performance in distributed systems

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Passion for building high-quality software and improving development practices

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus.
