System Design Engineer

WeQuel AB is looking for a System Design Engineer to develop, analyze, and integrate complex systems within industrial and automotive applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing system architectures while ensuring functional and technical alignment across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define system architectures, interfaces, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Perform risk analysis, testing, and validation of system solutions.
- Continuously optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Who You Are:
- Strong background in system engineering, mechatronics, or electrical/software development.
- Experience with model-based system engineering (MBSE), SysML, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards and system verification is a plus.
- A structured and analytical mindset, with a passion for problem-solving.
