Embedded Developer – Consulting assignment

We at WeQuel are looking for an experienced Embedded Developer for a consulting assignment in Malmö. The role involves developing software solutions for both internal and external applications, where you will work with a strong technical focus in a dynamic environment.

As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our clients, who are leading companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive, and manufacturing industries, where you will contribute to optimizing processes, implementing new technology, and creating sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop BLE modules utilized by other developers.

• Work with the latest technology in radio communications.

• Deliver software solutions on a global scale.

• Create firmware designs that optimize performance and power consumption.

• Debug real-time systems with limited visibility using development boards and lab equipment.

• Develop and manage intricate build, test, and validation infrastructures.

• Provide comprehensive documentation and utilize development tools effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Expert proficiency in C, and strong experience in C++ or other system-level languages for embedded systems (RTOS and/or bare-metal).

• Good understanding of BT/Thread and BLE/GATT protocols, including stack implementation.

• Experience with delivering software for ultra-low power devices.

• Strong knowledge of memory management techniques and performance optimization in embedded systems.

• Full-stack mindset.

• Experience debugging wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers.

Meritorious

• Experience with Swift or Objective-C.

• Knowledge of cryptography and security in an embedded context.

• Familiarity with build management and scripting: Make/CMake/Python.
