About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an R&D team working with development of advanced electromechanical products.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of eco-efficient and cost-competitive solutions with a strong focus on electrical design, drive systems, and motor-related applications.

How you will make an impact

• Participate as an Electrical Design Engineer in R&D development projects

• Work as part of a project team, reporting to the project manager and R&D management

• Perform electrical design, design calculations, and prepare technical specifications and documentation

• Contribute with creative and cost-effective technical solutions in cross-functional development work

• Collaborate with global R&D teams, ensuring knowledge sharing and high-quality deliverables

• Participate in product verification and testing, from early prototypes to final verification

• Evaluate prototype articles and supplier samples, and respond to technical questions from suppliers

• Support development related to motor drive units, winding connections, and electrical interfaces

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience in electrical design engineering

• Knowledge of electrical signals, communication protocols, and PLCs

• Experience or understanding of motor drive units (MDU) is a strong advantage

• Experience with motor-related electrical design or winding connections is highly meriting

• Experience in high-voltage products is a plus

• Curious, open-minded, and motivated to learn and develop in a technically specialised environment

• Professional proficiency in English (Swedish is a plus)
