WeQuel is looking for 2 Supply Chain Managers for a consulting assignment at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg – one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring that clinical trial materials are delivered across the globe with precision and care.

🔍 What you will do
As a Supply Chain Manager within AstraZeneca’s Clinical Study Supply Chain team, you will:

• Lead the planning, design, and setup of study supply chains for global clinical trials
• Ensure timely delivery of medication to patients participating in studies worldwide
• Manage supply risks, monitor demand planning and forecast changes
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Clinical, Quality and Regulatory
• Operate the IRT system for demand/supply planning and manage inventory activities (e.g. shelf life, rework, recalls)
• Work within GMP Quality Management Systems, including handling of deviations, change controls and complaints

✅ We believe you have

• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or supply chain field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, ideally in a clinical or pharma setting
• Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and supply risk mitigation
• Experience in leading projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• IT-savvy and comfortable working across multiple bespoke systems

🌟 Bonus points if you also have:

• Familiarity with GMP and GCP
• Understanding of clinical development and clinical material supply processes
• Lean methodology knowledge
• Experience handling Quality Events (deviations, complaints, change controls)
