About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our team, with a focus on engine component design, particularly related to crank systems. In this role, you will not only contribute your engineering expertise but also coordinate technical efforts across various teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project execution within drivetrain and engine development.

The Assignment
As a Mechanical Engineer & Coordinator, you will be responsible for the design of engine components, especially the crank system, while also coordinating with multiple teams to align on project objectives and ensure successful delivery. Your role will involve collaborating closely with departments such as prototype workshops, purchasing, and production, ensuring that technical specifications are met and processes are streamlined. You will play a key role in facilitating communication between teams and departments to drive continuous improvements and ensure that all technical requirements are achieved.

Requirements Profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in automotive or heavy vehicle design
• Strong experience in mechanical design, particularly with engine components and drivetrain systems
• Proficiency in CatiaV5, Enovia, OAS, and other relevant design tools
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a merit
• Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage technical requirements across teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments
