Microsoft Copilot Studio & Power Platform Developer
About the Role
As the developer expert for Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform, you design, develop and integrate intelligent business solutions within Microsoft's agent ecosystem — spanning Copilot Studio Agents, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and Azure Services.
The role combines technical solution design with process understanding, consulting skills and a strong security and governance awareness — ideal for someone who wants to build AI-supported automation and use cases in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Copilot Studio Solutions
Design, develop and integrate Copilot Studio agents — topics, conversation flows, triggers, actions and agent logic
Connect knowledge sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph) and build generative AI / RAG-oriented solutions where appropriate
Continuously test and improve agent response quality and business value
Power Platform Applications
Develop Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps with Power Apps
Build and maintain Power Automate workflows and Dataverse data models (tables, relationships, business rules, security roles)
Use Power Fx for business logic and create reusable components and solution patterns
Integration, Architecture and ALM
Integrate via REST APIs, custom connectors, and Microsoft Graph; connect Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management or AI Services as needed
Manage ALM through solutions, environments, pipelines, Git or Azure DevOps
Document solution architectures and advise on make-or-buy and scalability decisions
Governance, Security and Operations
Implement Power Platform and Copilot governance: data protection, Entra ID, roles, DLP policies and audit requirements
Monitor usage, performance and cost; support incident, change and release processes
Required Skills and Education
3–7+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
1–2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or comparable conversational AI/agent solutions
Proven experience with production-grade enterprise solutions, not only prototypes
Very good knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power Fx
Experience with M365, SharePoint, Graph and API integrations
Understanding of Azure AI Services, Generative AI and modern automation architectures
Experience with governance, security, compliance and ALM in an enterprise environment
