Project Manager External – PLM/Engineering

At WeQuel we are now looking for a Project Manager External in Finspång, where you become an important part of the PLM360 programme with a focus on coordinating business requirements and driving use case delivery. You will act as a Use Case Lead, representing the business where internal resource availability is limited, ensuring each capability area is fully understood, documented, prioritised and successfully integrated into the PLM ecosystem.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead business requirement gathering and maintain User Stories & Functional Requirements in Jira

• Ownership of the use case/component backlog and translation of strategy into sprint goals

• Coordination of cross-functional SMEs, Solution Architects and business stakeholders

• Gap identification and alignment between current practices and PLM upgrade proposals

• Collaboration with business to close gaps and define best ways of working

• Validation and testing support to ensure delivered functionality meets business needs

• Representation of your component in design reviews, dependency discussions and alignment sessions

• Identification of data migration requirements

• Support of business readiness: Show & Tell, sandbox testing and training inputs

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your area forward while collaborating with multiple interfaces within the organisation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality and other functions

• Demonstrated experience defining User Stories, Functional Requirements and business processes

• Background in PLM, ideally with Teamcenter experience

• Prior experience in engineering/manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and digital thread concepts

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear business language

• Self-starter with strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, able to operate independently as a business proxy

Nice to have:

• Experience with Teamcenter PLM specifically

• Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or heavy industry/manufacturing sector

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum ways of working

• Experience with data migration projects in an ERP/PLM context

• Certification or training in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, IIBA)
