Senior S/4HANA Production Specialist

Location: Västerås, Sweden
Start: As soon as possible after the summer
Duration: Long-term assignment (planned go-live for SAP S/4HANA: October 2027)

Drive a major S/4HANA transformation within manufacturing

We are looking for a highly experienced S/4HANA Production Specialist to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a key role where you will help shape the future production landscape by ensuring that manufacturing processes and systems are successfully transitioned to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

The ideal candidate is not only technically strong but also humble, collaborative, diplomatic, and comfortable working with stakeholders across both business and IT.

About the role

You will work closely with production teams, solution architects, SAP experts, and development teams to ensure that production-related processes are properly designed and aligned with the target architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing SAP ECC production solutions and support the transition to SAP S/4HANA

• Ensure production requirements are reflected in future solution designs

• Define how functionality should be distributed across SAP, MES, EWM, and related systems

• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP specialists, and development teams

• Act as the bridge between production operations and IT to ensure aligned and efficient solutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 5–10+ years of experience working with SAP in manufacturing environments

• Strong knowledge of production-related SAP modules, including:

  • SAP PP (Production Planning)

  • SAP MM (Materials Management)

  • SAP WM and/or SAP EWM

• Solid experience with or deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA

• Experience working with production processes and manufacturing systems

• Knowledge of MES solutions and ERP integrations

• Experience in solution design, systems architecture, or system integration

• Previous involvement in large implementation or transformation programs

• Fluency in English, Swedish is meriting
