Motion Control Engineer / Software Engineer

Our client is looking to strengthen their R&D Advanced Mechatronics and Motion Control team and is currently seeking engineers with strong software competence.

Role Description

As a Motion Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions within the motion control domain. You will work in a research and development environment, collaborating closely with experts in mechatronics, control engineering, and software development to create high-performance and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software for motion control applications

• Work with real-time operating systems and embedded systems

• Contribute to algorithm development and performance optimization

• Collaborate in cross-functional R&D teams

• Participate in design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of software solutions

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Control Engineering, or a related field

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (required)

Meritorious Skills

• Advanced experience in C# / .NET

• Full stack development experience

• Knowledge of system architecture and software design

• Experience from industrial or advanced R&D environments

• Swedish language skills
